![]() He may not be flashy, but he does form a good chunk of your team, and the fact that he’s still an AG4 elf means that he could be a star! If, however, you are looking at the skills I’ve suggested and thinking they look pretty bog standard, that’s because they are. Malicious Intent: The Dark Elf Roster Dark Elf Linemen # availableĪs usual, I want to begin our look at the lowly lineman. Sometimes it’s worth it to risk a pass for this, but most times if you can knock the ball free, a scoop up and handoff is usually all you need to be able to put yourself in an advantageous position, suddenly going from defense to threatening to score (preferably again!) Basic tactics and core gameplans are a bit beyond the scope of this article and something that will really only come with practice, but maybe that can be a topic for a future episode… in about five years time. When you think about elves, you probably think about flashy passing plays and speedy players. Dark Elves are the perfect elf team for when you want to take out some aggression on your opponent. Like their High Elf counterparts, Dark Elves employ a bit more armor than your average elf, with linemen and blitzers sporting AV8, though this still doesn’t make them nearly as durable as orcs or dwarves. The aforementioned witch elves tend to steal the show, whether its jumping up when least expected to throw a block when her opponents thought she was down, to terrifying anyone that strolls too close to the sideline. Of all the elves, Dark Elves are also the most physically aggressive, unafraid to get in and hit when needed. Like all elves, every dark elf from the lowly lineman to the wicked witch elf has AG4, meaning they can dodge and handle the ball exceedingly well. The first reason is probably because you want to play an elf team. Lead by the Witch King Malekith, the dark elves will deploy whatever tactics are needed to ensure their success, and woe be to any coaches (or even fans) that fail in this endeavor, finding themselves enslaved or sacrificed, or even worse.
